UPVC windows are now assessed with an Energy Rating. The best way to compare windows for energy efficiency is to use the BFRC Rating. BFRC Rating is on a scale of A to G, where an A-Rated window is more efficient than a G-Rated window.

Window Energy Ratings are similar to the energy efficiency labels found on kitchen appliances like fridges and washing machines. An A-Rated window is the highest rating you can get and current Building Regulations (Part L 2010) requires all domestic replacement windows to be rated at C or above.

Bromsgrove Windows use PLANITHERM - the most energy efficient window glass - it is easy to achieve a C-Rating with most choices of frame. By filling the units with Argon Gas this steps it up to an A-Rated window.
